Personal connection is my world. My universe. My bread and butter. Even to my destruction, I will strive for a personal connection in any setting. Meeting people is what makes traveling magic. You can read about a place or scroll through photos of it’s landmarks online but you will never experience the you that is now best friends with a girl from Finland because you both worked on an insane farm in the middle of the outback. It’s magic! How did you? How did we? What are the odds??
And these people have STORIES, god they have stories!! Everyone is a walking dictionary of words they learned through their own experience. Love, happiness, and friendship are foreign languages that we must continuously relearn.
